Chuc Kay’s Flight

Swing from a rope to splash into the Ixchel Grotto

Included in your admission

According to ancestral local stories, Chuc Kay is a pelican who personifies the guardian of the air and, therefore, one of the lookouts of Xel-Há Park. Pelicans are charming birds that inhabit the Yucatan Peninsula and stand out as excellent fishers who dive in search of food.

In this activity, you will be able to swing on a rope, starting from a raised stone into the Ixchel Grotto, and jump into the water for a refreshing dip, just as a pelican would do. Take the Chuc Kay Flight and enjoy nature in Xel-Há.
