Stingray Sea Trek®

Walk through the natural habitat of stingrays

Put on a Sea Trek® helmet that will allow to take a walk under the sea while breathing like on the surface, and interact with stingrays.

Begin your experience with a briefing on what you are going to experience. Then, try on the Sea Trek® helmet, which must fit well for the activity, and descend to the seabed by taking a few steps; this will allow you to adapt to the helmet and the surroundings.

This innovative activity allows you to breathe at a depth of 16.4 ft (5 m) as if you were on the surface. Let the experts of Xcaret guide you through the natural habitat of stingrays, to see them very close to you!

  • Sea Trek® helmet.
  • Diving shoes (only during the activity).
  • You must choose your schedule upon arrival at the park (subject to weather conditions).
  • Duration: 40 minutes (15 min safety instructions and orientation talk / 25 min interaction).
  • Minimum age required: 8 years ( important to try on the helmet).
  • Maximum depth: 16.4 ft (5 m)
  • Maximum capacity: 30 people.
  • Activity not recommended for pregnant women and those who suffer heart or ear problems, asthma, epilepsy, claustrophobia, hypertension, diabetes; with recent surgery, fractures, or medical restrictions.
  • Does not include transportation to the park, admission to Xcaret, photos or videos.
  • The price includes the Tax on Expenditures for Participating in Activities with Aquatic Animals (ISEPAAA in Spanish), in accordance with the laws of the State of Quintana Roo, amounting to a fee of 50.00 MXN per person. Individuals who prove their residence in the State of Quintana Roo by means of valid official documentation (INE, driver's license, FM2, FM3, temporary or permanent residence issued in Quintana Roo) will be exempt from payment of this tax, only if the purchase of the activity is made directly at the ticket booths of Xcaret or Xel-Há parks. This exemption does not apply to purchases made online or through other digital channels.
  • Your purchase is valid for one year and has a Bad Weather Guarantee (only applies 24 hours in advance).
  • Reservations cancelled more than 2 days prior to your original booking date are subject to a 10% charge for administrative fees; cancellations made between 0 and 2 days prior to your original booking date, or in the case of no-shows or not using your coupon, are nonrefundable. Any change on your booking date is subject to an adjustment in the price.
