Coral Reef Aquarium
REACH THE TREASURES OF THE CARIBBEAN WITHOUT DESCENDING TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Admire beautiful coral specimens at Xcaret’s Coral Reef Aquarium, in special ponds with windows that allow you to see underwater. See more than 5,000 marine organisms, among which you can see jellyfish, snails, goldfish, rays, and starfish.
This aquarium is unique in the world, since all of its coral reef ecosystems have been developed here. This is possible thanks to a modern technology of pumping sea water, which leads plankton, sponge larvae, corals, and mollusks to the ponds, giving rise to the colonization process.
