Ready to embark on an unforgettable Underground Expedition at Xplor Fuego? Get set to uncover a hidden world beneath the earth, where nature has sculpted for thousands of years breathtaking caverns, crystal-clear streams, and stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations that will leave you in awe.
Throughout the little over half a mile journey, you’ll encounter spaces that showcase magnificent underground landscapes — from an incredible natural canyon to fun obstacles and narrow passages, with water depths ranging from 1 ft (30 cm) to 3.6 ft (1.10 m), perfect for those seeking a touch of adventure.
Completing the entire Underground Expedition at Xplor Fuego will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, during which you’ll slide down a water slide and capture unforgettable memories at various Xelfie Points along the way. Plus, throughout your expedition, lifeguards and hosts will be available to assist you whenever needed.
Hours: 5:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
Ages: 5 years of age or older with a minimum height of 3.6 ft or 1.10 m.
Important: The use of water shoes or closed shoes is mandatory for this activity.

- The minimum height to participate is 3.6 ft (1.1 m). Underage must be accompanied by an adult at all time during the tour.
- The use of a helmet is mandatory.
- Activity not recommended for people with recent surgeries, epilepsy, back problems, high-blood pressure, a heart condition, claustrophobia, asthma, or pregnant women.
- For your own safety, It requires to use closed shoes (water shoes or sneakers).
- Avoid touching the stalactites to preserve these rock formations. Also, don’t abandon the channel to prevent accidents.
