How safe is ziplining?
At Xel-Há, totally safe. You have lifejackets the entire time, world-class harness, steel cable, pulley and highly trained staff.
How do you stop on a zipline?
Most zip-lines have an automatic brake, which is activated by the trained staff so you can enjoy the ride.
Can you control your speed on a zipline?
No. Speed is controlled by the angle of inclination, but no worry, must zip-lines are not about how fast you can go, but instead in the overall experience of speed, scenery and height.
