Deeply sorry, MTV Latin America has determined, after an exhaustive analysis, that will not be possible to bring the MTV Video Music Awards Latinamerica 2005 to the Mexican Caribbean before the end of the year.

A show of this magnitude and complexity requires a great level of planning and many months of organization, impossible to obtain in only six weeks. However, the emotion and the expectation without precedents generated around the show of this year in Latin America, confirmed us that Mexico in general and particularly the Mexican Caribbean is a perfect scenario for the VMALAs.

Also, MTV Latin America has decided to announce the winners of VMALAs 2005 in a special program that will be transmitted in December.

MTV Latin America continues to explore alternative events and productions to make in the Mexican Caribbean in the 2006, including VMALAs 2006. MTV is very grateful for of the constant support and understanding of their partners in the VMALAs project the 2005 -- Council of Tourist Promotion of Mexico, the government of Quintana Roo, the Xcaret park and the Occidental Hotels chain.
