    Sea Turtles
    • On February 26, Xcaret received a white turtle of about 2 years old that was found snared in a raffia grain bag with two severe lacerations on its front and back right flippers. It is undergoing treatment and is reacting favorably and eating by itself.


    • On March 14th, we received a hawksbill turtle about 2 years old that was found in Tulum suffering from severe dehydration and starvation. Right now the animal is under treatment, but its prognosis is not good.
