Art Object Contest

The 3rd. “Festival de Tradiciones de Vida y Muerte” (Life and Death Traditions Festival) invites all the visual artists and artisans of Quintana Roo to enter the contest by presenting works of art representing the following subject:

“El altar de Día de Muertos: Hanal Pixan”
(The Day of the Dead Altar: Hanal Pixan)

Requirements: To create a work of art inside an 80cm x 60cm box with a depth of 30cm. This box will hold the altar. Free technique is allowed.

Contest Closing Date: September 15
Handing in of Work Deadline: October 18

Exhibition: October 30 and 31, November the 1st and 2nd

Place: Xcaret park as part of the 3rd “Festival de Tradiciones de Vida y Muerte” (Life and Death Traditions Festival)

Artist will receive a participation diploma, free admission to the park and the right to sell their art work.
