Main Plaza

The contemporary style of the Xcaret Main Plaza contrasts harmoniously with the multiple Mayan artifacts on display. At the Main Plaza museum you can also admire works of art of contemporary Mexican artists and scale models of 12 of the major ancient Mayan cities. You can also look at a replica of a typical Mexican village and even see quails hatching in their incubators.

The Main Plaza is the largest store at Xcaret. Taking up an area of more than 2,000 square feet, it offers the best selection of products from all the corners of Mexico: from groceries to handicrafts, from jewelry, traditional clothing, souvenirs, beach items and textiles to accessories, stuffed animals, books and music.

At the Main Plaza you can also adventure into our two unique underground exhibitions: the Silver Mine and the Wine Cellar, the only Cellar dedicated solely to Mexican wines.

In addition, the Xcaret Main Plaza has an information and reservations center, a photographic center, bathrooms with showers, dressing rooms and lockers, a snack bar, a pharmacy, telephone boots, an ATM, a lookout point with a panoramic view of the park, and live music daily at sunset.
